Traveller protection

When you book a package holiday with Studentresor.com, you are protected by mandatory insurances held by the operating company, Student Life d.o.o., in accordance with the EU Package Travel Directive (2015/2302) and Croatian travel law.

Who you are booking with

Studentresor.com is the trading name of Student Life d.o.o., a registered Croatian limited liability company and licensed package travel organiser, based in Split, Croatia (OIB 03022694014). As an EU-registered operator, we are bound by the same level of consumer protection rules that apply to package travel companies across the European Union.

Insolvency protection (travel guarantee)

We hold an insolvency guarantee with Generali osiguranje d.d., one of Croatia's leading insurance companies. This guarantee protects payments you have made for your package holiday. If we were unable to deliver a booked trip due to insolvency, you would be entitled to a refund for services not yet provided, or — if you were already on your trip — to repatriation to your point of departure where transport is part of your package.

Professional liability insurance

We also hold a separate professional liability insurance with Generali osiguranje d.d. that covers damages for which we may be legally liable in connection with our activity as a package travel organiser.

Personal travel insurance

The protections above relate to our obligations as an operator. They do not replace a private travel insurance, which we strongly recommend to cover medical care abroad, lost luggage, personal accident, or cancellation for personal reasons.
